My dear forum members this is where you get to learn about the lay of the land. First on all The town and names used are in no way related to anything in real life sorry. I find picture that match the place in my head and poof so be it. Love peace and chicken grease. So lets get this started.



In the early 1900's a remote town was built up in the mountains in Virgina. I was so remote that most people did not know about it until after the 1950's after a airplane crew spotted the town. The town was out of date and very behind in all things new but soon enough it caught onto the modernization. Roads were built that led to the town and stores and such grew. Still the town did not become a booming city. It was to far into the mountain almost lost in the thickness of the trees and wilderness. In 2010 The town was officially a main tourist spot. It was small but enough people had moved there to get the fresh air. Many people not only came for the trees and air but for the amazing hots springs, grand lake, and the thing that could only be found there.

1950 Was found by the rest of the world. Population 100

1954 electric was run from the main power plant two hundred mils away to the town. First real light bulb burned brightly that night. Population 102

1955 the town was known and state funded to help modernize. Over two million dollars was given out between twenty Major families. Population 105

1957 Ten of the twenty families with the money handed it back o the town to gain electric, transportation, and to up grade their resources. New buildings were brought in including grocery stores, gas station, schools, hospital, and a college.Ten teachers from areas all over the us moved into the town Population 110

1960 First child to attend school and pass the state sat with scores above average. Also the first tourist came a news reporter by the name of Wilkens. He stayed and gathered information for a few months and then went back to the main state. He later returned to live there until his passing days of a ninety-nine. Population 111

1969 first person to get their masters from the college. Population 108

1980 A factory for food and livestock opens. Town becomes one of the largest places for rare food to be imported out of. A science lab is built with the towns funds. Population 120

1999 The town opens their arms to tourist by building a large resort like area in their town. Most of the families are wealthy. Population 132

2010 Became a well known town with many tourist. Population 170
